Road Trip - San Diego Mayan Party

I Heart San Diego. I had the honor of being brought out to do a Mayan display for an "End of the World" party, on 12/21/12. The event was for a lovely 18-year old and her 100 closest friends on a Hornblower yacht. We did Cheesecake Marshmallows with a "bloody" Strawberry drizzle, Strawberry Mallow Pops dipped in Milk Chocolate with custom Mayan temples and mask design, and S'mores.

I am still new to all of this, so being sent out on location was beyond fantastic (something I have been dreaming about)! Being on a yacht while setting up a marshmallow display in a yacht-kitchen was surreal! Watching the waves and being able to get the behind the scenes protocol of this type of event was really amazing. Thankfully, we all survived the Mayan Apocalypse and I had a blast doing it. Cheers to more cool memories!

We had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful, new born angel named Grace! Born just in time for the holidays and is surrounded by love. We did Strawberry Mallow Pops dipped in Milk Chocolate for her arrival.

Almost a year to the date...

It's been almost exactly a year to the date I got the idea for this business and it's amazing how a thought can turn into something tangible. It makes me feel so lucky and overwhelming thrilled to even get to this point. I know we have a TON of work ahead, but I'm excited :).

This week, we did a Holiday order for a wonderful and brilliant customer who works for VMware. We did S'mores, custom Strawberry Mallow Pops, and Toasted Coconut. We are in the midst of doing a soft launch right now, so we feel REALLY lucky to be able to make desserts for these fabulous companies! Happy Holidays!!!
