White Chocolate and Chocolate Halloween Marshmallows

So, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love this time of year when the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, you get to wear cowl neck sweaters and candy! I made custom chocolate malllows dipped in orange colored white chocolate and they came out cute! I've always been a chocolate gal in terms of a white chocolate/chocolate show down, but white chocolate has been growing on me lately! Cheers to a Happy Halloween....and candy!!

Super Hero/Carnival Birthday

Who doesn't adore birthday parties!? And kids birthday parties are the best! Tons of colors, costumes and marshmallows. Ha! We did  a joint brother and sister super hero/carnival theme party. All the kids dressed up and the party was amazing. We heart birthday parties :).

I love being creative, it's one of my greatest joys! Day dreaming about what something can look like is SO fun. These are a couple of events were we did the whole look and set up. We grow each time we do events, and the love the whole process.

First Call Back

So, when I was at the event for Flex, I left a few brochures and cards thinking nothing of it. 20-mins after I left the hotel, which the event was held, the hotel called me for catering information! The head event coordinator and the senior sales manager called me on speaker phone! At first I thought they were calling because something was wrong lol, completely taken off guard. A flippin' amazing day. So stoked that I was able to get such a great response so fast! Holy Cow, it's moving along!

My First Corporate Gig - Flextronics

So, I spent my birthday weekend prepping for my first corporate gig and it was fun! I made Chocolate Snickypuffs, Toasted Coconut, Key Lime Pie, Lemon, and chocolate chip cookies filled with Vanilla Bean marshmallows and dipped in semi-sweet chocolate. Praying to God the Flextronics sales department liked it! I have a super hero birthday party this weekend, so things are busy (just the way I like it). Here's to more corporate gigs and parties!

My Brochures Came!

Got my brochures today for the business and they came out so cute! It's kind of surreal looking at my brochures that are now on my company blog....crazy. Everything is happening so fast right now, I'm trying to really enjoy each moment as it comes. I made these brochures from scratch - I came up with the copy, brochure lay out, and I even took the product photos. So this is really cool to see in person :). Good sense of accomplishment, even though I still have a MASSIVE amount of work to do (Time to Hustle!). Pretty excited!

My Birthday and a Business

Today is my birthday - and I don't think I could have done anything better with my day than what I did with it! I went downtown and got my business license and federal ID! Was telling the lady who helped me in City Hall that it was birthday, she laughed and said "WHY on earth are celebrating it here!" lol. It felt good after all of this time to finally have it be real. It's been a crazy journey, even getting to this point, so today feels great :). Going to dinner with some lovely friends and finishing up with the family, a perfect day. Plus the cherry on top, the Giants and the A's won today in the playoffs! Love it!

My First Post!

My first blog post! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! My name is Camille and I am the owner of My Oh My Marshmallows. I'm starting this blog to keep track of my experiences and observations of the business. Hopefully this will be a fun and happy place to share my marshmallows and creative passion.

I started M.O.M.M. after I came across a marshmallow recipe on a food blog. Something in the back of my mind told me to try and pursue making them and it's been a love affair ever since. I've spent countless hours, days and months on marshmallows and it's been a long road of success and a few failures along the way. I've come a really long way and I am SO excited to say our products are finally ready!  I hope I can get people to see all the beauty I see in marshmallows and that everyone will enjoy them just as much as I do.
