Road Trip - San Diego Mayan Party

I Heart San Diego. I had the honor of being brought out to do a Mayan display for an "End of the World" party, on 12/21/12. The event was for a lovely 18-year old and her 100 closest friends on a Hornblower yacht. We did Cheesecake Marshmallows with a "bloody" Strawberry drizzle, Strawberry Mallow Pops dipped in Milk Chocolate with custom Mayan temples and mask design, and S'mores.

I am still new to all of this, so being sent out on location was beyond fantastic (something I have been dreaming about)! Being on a yacht while setting up a marshmallow display in a yacht-kitchen was surreal! Watching the waves and being able to get the behind the scenes protocol of this type of event was really amazing. Thankfully, we all survived the Mayan Apocalypse and I had a blast doing it. Cheers to more cool memories! 

"G" is for Princess Grace - New Born Gift

We had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful, new born angel named Grace! Born just in time for the holidays and is surrounded by love. We did Strawberry Mallow Pops dipped in Milk Chocolate for her arrival.

Almost a year to the date...

It's been almost exactly a year to the date I got the idea for this business and it's amazing how a thought can turn into something tangible. It makes me feel so lucky and overwhelming thrilled to even get to this point. I know we have a TON of work ahead, but I'm excited :).

This week, we did a Holiday order for a wonderful and brilliant customer who works for VMware. We did S'mores, custom Strawberry Mallow Pops, and Toasted Coconut. I got asked to do a Tree Lighting Ceremony and Toys for Tots Benefit, with over 2,000 people, this week and it was amazing! So many cute kids in costumes, fun vendors and MARSHMALLOWS! We made Mallow Pops, Toasted Coconut and Red Velvets. All of our supply went in less than hour and we had a blast!

I have been waiting to write this post for the last month and a half! We have been prepping and organizing for the Twitter Global Sales Conference. I have a wonderful (brilliant and talented) friend who does amazing work for Twitter and opened the door for our little business! Twitter was launching a new "nest" product so I wanted to really try and tie that into our theme. I wanted to show how personalized we can get with our products and how it can be more than what we have listed on our item list.

 Everything went really well! We couldn't get our mallows set up fast enough, people were trying to take them before we were even ready! It was fantastic, people really seemed amazed and pleased with the look and taste of everything. There were people using my mallows for photo ops! So ridiculously cool! We were pretty much out of stock within an hour. So mind blowing and I'm SO happy :).

This whole thing is a process and I learn so much each time I do these. It's surreal to have these ideas one day and have it be real the next.  I feel lucky that I'm just starting out and we have had the opportunity to do a display (with pretty much free creative license) for Twitter! Got great feedback from people and a couple of good leads. My Dad came out with me to help set up and he was so proud, truly an amazing day and one I will cherish :).

White Chocolate and Chocolate Halloween Marshmallows

So, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love this time of year when the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, you get to wear cowl neck sweaters and candy! I made custom chocolate malllows dipped in orange colored white chocolate and they came out cute! I've always been a chocolate gal in terms of a white chocolate/chocolate show down, but white chocolate has been growing on me lately! Cheers to a Happy Halloween....and candy!!

Who doesn't adore birthday parties!? And kids birthday parties are the best! Tons of colors, costumes and marshmallows. Ha! We did  a joint brother and sister super hero/carnival theme party. All the kids dressed up and the party was amazing. We heart birthday parties :).
